And just like that, the final glider has landed—and the competitive part of JEGC 2025 has officially come to an end.
The eighth and final flying day may not have been the longest, but it was certainly one of the more demanding. Today’s task challenged the pilots and allowed them to demonstrate their skill and determination. Many made it back to Prievidza airfield, keeping the fight for the podium alive right to the very end.
All our juniors proved they truly belong here. Their perseverance and spirit in today’s tricky conditions showed just how much talent and potential they carry. The final day was a reflection of the entire championship—unpredictable, ever-changing, and shaped by the complexity of the Slovak terrain.
Although the weather didn’t allow us to showcase everything Slovakia has to offer for glider pilots, we’re proud of what was achieved.
Thank you all for being part of JEGC 2025 — it wouldn’t have been the same without you! It’s been a true privilege to witness so much talent, determination, and passion. It’s crystal clear that the next generation of gliding legends is growing right here!
